
Being a student and away from my mom's healthy cooking, I found it so easy to pile on the pounds.
Lots of drinking beer and cocktails and then eating fast-food on the way home soon started to become a habit. I was eating frozen pizzas, TV dinners, and regular takeouts because it was cheap and convenient! I ate nothing fresh or healthy and two years went by before I even realized how much weight I was putting on!
Coming home for that second summer was a nightmare. I was stretching out of my clothes and I could see everyone was shocked by my weight gain. My sister suggested we tried Slimming World – it opened up a whole new world!
