At Slimming World, our vision is to make a real difference to as many people’s lives as we can
… and we do.
We’re committed to providing web content that’s accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of disability, capability, or technology.
We’re constantly working to increase the accessibility and usability of our websites for all our visitors, and work in line with many of the available standards and guidelines (see below).
Using the Slimming World website
This site’s been designed to be used with a screen reader, screen magnifier or other access technology. It can be viewed on a range of different screen sizes and the size of the text can be changed too. We’ve also included a site map to help people find information more easily.
Using your browser, you can change the size of text on this website.
Guidelines and Standards
Slimmingworldusa.com endeavors to meet level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 and has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers and, by using standards compliant code, any future browsers should also display it correctly.
Although we strive to meet the accepted standards for accessibility and usability, it’s not always possible and the following areas may be difficult for some people to use:
- The online food diary (group and online members only)
- The Body Magic challenge (online members only)
We’re always looking for ways to help our members and other visitors get the most enjoyment out of the online services we offer. If there’s any information you think should be included on this page, or if you are experiencing difficulties with the website, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
